What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (CLOVELLY GROVE, RUNCORN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Road(s) affected: Footpath 49BV - between numbers 13 19 Clovelly Grove, Runcorn

Date Order to come into effect: 15 April 2025

Note: the closure is to allow excavation for new ducting and will be over 3 days. For further information contact: 07415 406027.

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (MILTON ROAD, WIDNES) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Road(s) affected: Footpath 50KW - Milton Road, Widnes Date Order to come into effect: 16 April 2025

Note: the closure is to allow for electrical upgrade works and is expected to take 19 days. For further information contact: 0151 5250527.

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (THE GLEN RUNCORN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Road(s) affected: Footpath 134PF - between 60-62 & 68 The Glen, Runcorn

Date Order to come into effect: 14 April 2025

Note: the closure is to allow excavation for new ducting and is expected to be over 5 days. For further information contact: 07415 406027.

Reason for making the Orders: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the roads should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.

Effect of the Orders: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the roads.

Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.

Maximum duration of the Orders: 6 months from the date the Orders come into effect.
