What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Cannon Lane from its junction with Roxborough Way to its junction with Elizabeth Hawkes Way.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Cannon Lane, Altwood Road, Haddon Road, Wootton Way, Norden Road, Norreys Drive, Shoppenhangers Road, Woodlands Park Road and Cannon Lane.
The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works, namely manhole frame and cover replacement and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Order shall be in operation from 21.00 hours on Monday 14th April until 04:00 hours on Tuesday 15th April 2025. Vehicles will be prohibited at such times when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
