What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D5370 GUNNINGS ROAD SERVICE ROAD (GROVE. PLACE) & D5369 GUNNINGS ROAD, ALCESTER
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows — Gunnings Road Service Road (Grove Place) closed in its entirety from its junction with Gunnings Road, Gunnings Road Closed between its junctions with St. Faiths Road and Kinwarton Road.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only excluding Bank Holidays.
Order Commences: 14 April 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 April 2025.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion route for D5370 Gunnings Road Service Road (Grove Place). Diversion for D5369 Gunnings Road via St. Faiths Road, Crooks Lane, Kinwarton Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
