Riverside - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

Temporary Closure of Riverside
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Riverside - from the junction with Glastonbury Road, north-westwards for a total distance of 76 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to clear outfall and install tidal tap.
The Order becomes effective on 24th April 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 30th April 2025 and last until 2nd May 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
