Order made: To close that part of U31038 Edward Street from its junction with U31000 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with U31035 Elm Road and to temporarily (part) suspend The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 to allow access to residents and businesses on Edward Street in the direction from south to north for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Carriageway/footway resurfacing by Norcon Construction Ltd.

Alternative route: U31000 Bromsgrove Road, U31028 Hewell Road, U31031 Cedar Road, U31035 Elm Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(U23414 Meadow Road/U23418 School Drive, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1 – U23414 Meadow Road from its junction with U23415 Ann Road to its U23418 School Drive. Closure 2 – U23418 School Drive from its junction with U23414 Meadow Road to its junction with C2041 Station Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U23414 Meadow Road (part), U23410 Gorsey Lane, C2041 Station Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days.

Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(U30032 Castle Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U30032 Castle Street from its junction with C2038 Church Road to its junction with C2038 Feckenham Road.

Reason: Repair damaged drainage pipe and the installation of inspection chambers by WCC.

Alternative route: C2038 Church Road, C2038 Feckenham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs).

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F30598 Matchborough Way (adjacent Social Club) from its junction with U32000 Matchborough Way to its junction with A435 Birmingham Road (In Warwickshire).

Reason: Footpath overlay by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of U33200 Studley Rd from its junction with U33423 Barlich Way to its junction with U33322 Warwick Highway.

Reason: Zebra crossing installation by WCC.

No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.

Reason: Manhole cover replacement by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2034 Rowney Green Ln, U23202 Chapel Ln, U23202 Gravel Pit Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Order made: To close that part of U31031 Hewell Rd from its junction with U31031 Cedar Rd to its junction with U31204 Clive Rd.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U31204 Clive Rd, U31200 Birmingham Rd, B4184 Windsor Rd, U31028 Hewell Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00–06:00).

Commencing: 15 April 2025.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U31035 Elm Rd from its junction with U31031 Cedar Rd to its junction with U31038 Edward St.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Order made: To close that part of C2001 Hill Ln from its junction with C2042 Watery Ln to its junction with U23411 Chapel Ln.

Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water.

Diversion Anticlockwise: C2042 Watery Ln, A435 Alcester Rd, C2001 Hill Ln (part).

Diversion Clockwise: C2001 Hill Ln (part), A435 Alcester Rd (Northbound), A435 Becketts Roundabout, A435 Alcester Rd (Southbound), C2042 Watery Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs).

(U23426 Haslucks Green Road, Majors Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23426 Haslucks Green Road from its junction with U23431 Drawbridge Road for a distance of 230 metres in a north easterly direction until the boundary with Solihull.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent Gas.

Alternative route: U23426 Haslucks Green Road (part), U23433 Peterbrook Road into Solihull and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 34 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 1 May 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Astwood Lane, Feckenham) (30 mph Speed Limit)

Order 2025

On 27 March 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to extend the speed limit on the following length of road in Feckenham to 30 miles per hour:

Astwood Lane: from the existing 30mph limit from its junction with Yeates Acre for a distance of 84m in an easterly direction.

Current Limit – National speed limit and proposed Limit 30mph.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 17 April 2025.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTIONS 90A TO 90F

CONSTRUCTION OF SPEED CUSHIONS ON STUDLEY ROAD, REDDITCH

Notice is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council are to proceed with the construction of four pairs of Speed Cushions

2000mm in length, 1600mm wide and 75mm high at a gradient of 1 in 10 on Studley Road, Redditch as follows:

• First pair: 30.97m south of the junction with Barlich Way.

• Second pair: 84.48m south of the junction with Barlich Way.

• Third pair: 25.04m north of the junction with Warwick Highway.

• Fourth pair: 14.76m south of the junction with Warwick Highway.

Construction for the scheme will begin on 14 April 2025.
