ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984– SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

THORNTON ROAD N18 - 4485

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential utility works

Operational Date and times:

between 20:00 hours on 11 April and 05:00 hours on 12 April 2025 or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close the northbound cycle lane on this road between Bridge Road and Smythe Close.

While the Cycle Lane is closed Cyclists would be required to dismount and walk or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.

WINCHMORE HILL ROAD N21 TINTERN GARDENS N14, QUEEN ELIZABETH’S DRIVE N14 - 4486

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway works

Operational Date and times:

“At Any time” between 22 April 2025 and 24 April 2025 for 70 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

• Winchmore Hill Road: suspend parking on this road from Nos.110/112 to outside the common boundary of Nos. 200/202.

• Tintern Gardens N14: close this road at its junction with Winchmore Hill Road.

• Queen Elizabeths Drive N21: close this road at its junction with Winchmore Hill Road.

  TILLOTSON ROAD N9, STANLEY ROAD N9, PARK AVENUE N18, MOREE WAY, N18, BEXLEY GARDENS N9, BANSTEAD GARDENS N9 - 4487

  Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works

  Operational Date and times:

  • Tillotson Road N9 “At Any time” on 22 April 2025 for 12 Weeks or until works are completed;

  • Stanley Road N9 “At Any time” on 23 June 2025 for 12 Weeks or until works are completed;

  • Park Avenue N18 “At Any time” on 22 April 2025 for 8 Weeks or until works are completed;

  • Moree Way N18 “At Any time” on 26 May 2025 for 13 Weeks or until works are completed;

  • Bexley Gardens N9 “At Any time” on 26 May 2025 for 9 Weeks or until works are completed; and

  • Banstead Gardens N9 “At Any time” on 26 May 2025 for 9 Weeks or until works are completed.

  The general effect of the Order would be to

  • Tillotson Road N9, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road from its junction with Stanley Road N9;

  • Stanley Road N9, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between Arthur Road and Tillotson Road N9;

  • Park Avenue N18, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between Park Road and Fore Street N18.

  • Moree Way N18, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road in phases between Park Avenue western arm and Park Avenue eastern arm.

  • Bexley Gardens N9, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road in phases between Westerham Avenue and Banstead Gardens;

  • Banstead Gardens N9, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between Bexley Gardens and Beckenham Gardens N9.

  The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.

  Access would be maintained only as far as the works allow
