What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

THE BROADWAY N9 - 4481

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential utility works

Operational Date and times:

between 20:00 hours on 11 April and 05:00 hours on 12 April 2025 or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close the northbound cycle lane on this road between Bridge Road and Smythe Close. While the Cycle Lane is closed Cyclists will be required to dismount and walk or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.

MICRO MOBILITY BAYS – WILBURY WAY N18, PRINCES AVENUE N13, LADYSMITH ROAD N18, LEYBURN ROAD N18, RUSSELL ROAD N13, SOMERSET ROAD N18 WARWICK ROAD N11, THE LIMES AVENUE N11, OLD PARK ROAD N13 AND PARK AVENUE / LIGHTCLIFFE ROAD N13 - 4482

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway works

Operational Date and times:

“At Any time” between 14 April 2025 and 24 April 2025 or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on:

  • Wilbury Way: Outside No. 93 & 95 Wilbury Way N18 1BX

  • Princes Avenue: On Fairbrook Close, on the side of No. 85 Princes Avenue N13 6HA

  • Ladysmith Road: Opposite number 2 Ladysmith Road N18 2DR. Within marked parking bay and near lamp column 2

  • Leyburn Road: Outside No. 41 Leyburn Road N18 2BH

  • Russell Road: Outside No. 65 & 67 Russell Road N13 4RS

  • Russell Road: Outside 63 & 65 Russell Road N13 4RS

  • Somerset Road: Outside No. 100 & 102 Somerset Road N18 1HG

  • Warwick Road: Outside No. 12 & 14 Warwick Road N11 2TJ

  • The Limes Avenue: Outside No. 27 The Limes Avenue N11 1RD

  • Old Park Road: To the left of 66C Old Park Road N13 4RE, opposite lamp column 10.

  • Park Avenue/Lightcliffe Road: On Lightcliffe Road N13 5PW, on the side of 59 Park Avenue N13 5PH.

    PRIVATE ROAD AND TRINITY AVENUE EN1 - 4483

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works

    Operational Date and times:

    Private Road EN1 “At Any time” on 14 April 2025 for 4 days or until works are completed.

    Trinity Avenue EN1 “At Any time” on 22 April 2025 for 2 weeks or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order will be to:

    • Private Road EN1, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between Village Road and Wellington Road EN1; and

    • Trinity Avenue EN1, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between A10 Great Cambridge Road and First Avenue EN1.

    GILDA AVENUE EN3 – 4484

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

    Operational Date and times:

    “At Any time” on 14 April 2025 for 3 months or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Duck Lees Lane to outside No.40 Gilda Avenue.

    NAPIER ROAD EN3 AND GROUSE WAY EN3, YORK WAY, STOCKTON ROAD, UPTON ROAD, SCOTT HOUSE AND WOOLMER ROAD, N18 - 4486

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Works

    Operational Date and times:

    “At Any time” on 15 April 2025 for 1 day.

    Or 16 April 2025 for 1 day.

    The general effect of the Order will be to on:

    • Napier Road EN3 the south side, suspend parking from a point 15 metres west of the eastern flank wall of Curlew House, eastwards for a distance of 40 metres.

    Grouse Way, Curlew House

    • Road closure at its junction with Napier Road and Waiting and Loading Restrictions from its junction with Napier Road, all estate roadways footways and car parking bays.

    Stockton Road N18

    • Suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Hawes Road to outside Nos. 17/19 Stockton Road.

    York Road N18

    • Suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Stockton Road, northwards for approximately 25 metres and from its junction with Berkshire Gardens to outside Nos. 49/51 York Road.

    Upton Road N18

    • Suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with York Road to a point in line with the western flank wall of No.67 Upton Road.

    Woolmer Road N18

    • Suspend parking on both sides of this road from Nos. 18/20 Woolmer Road to Nos. 34/36 Woolmer Road.

    Scott House N18

    • Suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Woolmer Road, all estate roadway footways and car parking bays within the estate boundary.

    PARK AVENUE EN1 – EM33

    Follow on from 14.2 notice

    Operational Date and times:

    “At Any time” on 7 April 2025 for a further 2 days

    The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking and close the southbound cycle lane on this road from a point in line with the northwestern flank wall of No 123 Park Avenue to a point in line with the southeastern flank wall of 111 Park Avenue. While the Cycle Lane is closed Cyclists will be required to dismount and walk or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.

    GORDON HILL EN2 – EM34

    Follow on from 14.2 notice

    Operational Date and times:

    “At Any time” on 8 April 2025 for a further 2 days

    The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Chase Side to its junction with Tippetts Close EN2. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

    NETHERBY GARDENS EN2 – EM35

    Follow on from 14.2 notice

    Operational Date and times:

    “At Any time” on 10 April 2025 for a further 2 days

    The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Merryhills Drive EN2, northwards for approximately 30m. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

    The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.

    Access will be maintained only as far as the works allow
