What is happening?

THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS)
(DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES)
(No 3) ORDER 2025

Portsmouth City Council hereby gives Notice that on the 10 April 2025 it made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 14 April 2025.
a) To introduce a Disabled Person's Parking bay in Karen Avenue, south side, from a point 5 metres east of its junction with Lower Drayton Lane eastwards for 5.5 metres (alongside No 109 Lower Drayton Lane). This parking bay would be for use only by vehicles displaying a Blue Badge or relevant permit issued by the Council.
b) To remove the Disabled Person's Parking bay in Lower Drayton Lane, east side, outside No 105.

www.portsmouth.gov.uk.

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9284 1767
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
