NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 36 (PART) – PARISH OF HAYFIELD)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
On 9th January 2025 Derbyshire County Council confirmed the above order. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the whole width of that part of Hayfield Parish Public Footpath No. 36 commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) SK 0315 8742) and proceeding in a north-eastern direction for around 18 metres to point B (GR SK 0316 8743), then in a northern direction for around 6 metres to point C (GR SK 0316 8744, then in an east north-eastern direction for around 35 metres to point D (GR SK0320 8745), then in a south-eastern direction for around 4 metres to Point E (GR SK 0320 8744), a total distance of 63 metres or thereabouts to a 2-metre-wide footpath surfaced with bound gravel at Bank Vale Road in Hayfield Parish, commencing from the aforementioned Point A and proceeding in a generally north-eastward direction for around 24 metres to Point F (GR SK 0317 8744), then with an earthen surface proceeding in a north-eastward then east north-eastward direction for around 24 metres to Point G (GR SK 0319 8745), then curving to a south-eastward direction for around 19 metres to the aforementioned Point E, a total distance of 67 metres or thereabouts as shown on the order map.

Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Hayfield Library, Kinder Road, Hayfield, High Peak, SK22 2HS during normal opening hours.
The order came into force on 9th January 2025 but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of those purposes under Section 119 of Highways Act 1980 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published.
