C124 ULGHAM LANE LONGHIRST
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C124 Ulgham Lane Longhirst for a distance of 6 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th April 2025 until the 27th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23:00 hours on the 26th April 2025 until 08:30 hours on the 27th April 2025 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C124, B1337, C125, C124 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on behalf of Network Rail to lift out the level crossing to allow tandem tampers to work through the area. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
