Wellington Road, Newport - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin Wellington Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order to undertake gas disconnection works.
The order becomes operational from the 24/4/25.
The following
road is affected: Wellington Road, Newport from its jcn with Upper Bar for approx.
80m in a south westerly direction. Alternative routes will be signed on site. The
maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the
25/4/25.
