Promenade, Bridlington - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
PROMENADE, BRIDLINGTON
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed along part of Promenade,
Bridlington between numbers 31 and 41 commencing
22 April 2025. The closure will be between
21.00 hours until 06.00 hours. The reason for the
closure is to enable the proposed excavation works, to
be carried out and completed in a manner consistent
with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by
24 April 2025 at 06.00 hours. The alternative route
for traffic affected by the Order is via:
1. Promenade, Cross Street, Queen Street,
Bridge Street, Hilderthorpe Road, Springfield Avenue,
Quay Road, Victoria Road, Wellington Road,
Trinity Road, Vernon Road and Flamborough Road.
2. Promenade, Trinity Road, Wellington Road,
Prospect Street and Chapel Street.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and
for vehicular access to properties directly affected by
the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 22 April 2025 at 21.00
hours and continue in force for a period not exceeding
eighteen months or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever
is the earlier. Further information can be obtained from
