NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of Greaves Sike Lane at Micklebring in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst telecommunications equipment works
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Greaves Sike Lane, Moor Lane,
Marsh Hill, Ashton Lane, High Street, Micklebring Lane.

ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of Beech Drive at Branton in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst works to provide a new internet fibre
cabling service.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Those residents and businesses
directly affected by the works will be notified of the scheme
and access arrangements.

make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length

District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.

are undertaken.

In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st May 2025.

ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of Thorpe Lane at Thorpe In Balne in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to excavate to install approx. 40m
telecoms cable to link into existing telecoms apparatus
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Marsh Road, Moss Lane,
Wrancarr Lane, Bar Croft Lane, Haywood Lane, Narrow Lane,

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018
(AMENDMENT NO. 91) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 9th day of April 2025 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
24th day of April 2025 will introduce a limited waiting
restriction of No waiting Monday to Friday between the hours
of 10am to 3pm on the following lengths of road:
Hillcrest Road, Wheatley
(a) North East Side
(i) From a point 25 metres north of its junction with the
northern kerb line of Armthorpe Road for a distance of 40
metres in a northerly direction.
(ii) From a point 75 metres north of its junction with the
northern kerb line of Armthorpe Road for a distance of 33
metres in a north westerly direction.
(b) South West Side
(i) From a point 25 metres north of its junction with the
northern kerb line of Armthorpe Road for a distance of 45
metres in a northerly direction.
(ii) From a point 67 metres north of its junction with the
northern kerb line of Armthorpe Road for a distance of 33
metres in a north westerly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods, in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection
and delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being
operated by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety
Camera Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring
or enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles are also included in the Order

Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of
the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not
within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act
or of any instrument made under it has not been complied
with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the
9th day of April 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers
The effect of the order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed
limit on the following roads:-
Kirk Sandall
Moor Lane, The whole
Old School Drive, The whole
Pilkington Road, The whole
Silica Court, The whole

the restricted roads and a statement of the Councils reasons
for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the
