What is happening?

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
C95 SEA VIEW SHILBOTTLE TO WARKWORTH SHILBOTTLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 2 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C95 Sea View Shilbottle to Warkworth from its junction with the C96 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 1181 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th April 2025 until the 13th October 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 14th April 2025 until the 18th April 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C95, C94, A1068 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out ditch clearance. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
