Hazelwood Hill - Temporary Road Closure For Pole Replacement Works

Temporary Closure of Hazelwood Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Hazelwood Hill - from the junction with Whatley Lane to the junction with Bakersfield for a total distance of 1161 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 10th April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 17th April 2025 and last until 17th April 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 for a total of 7 hours.
