Footpath 110 & Bridleway 202, Great Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 110 and Bridleway 202, Great Warley in the Borough of Brentwood as below.

Footpath/Bridleway No Description

Bridleway 202 From a point approximately 230 metres from Codham Hall Lane for approximately 740 metres

Footpath 110 Between the B186 and its junction with Hole Farm Lane for approximately 480 metres.

The Bridleway and Footpath will be open when works are not taking place. Signs will be placed on site informing members of the public whether the route is open or closed. A Marshall will be on site to allow access to properties when needed.

The diversion route will be on developer-owned property, details of the diversion will be displayed on site.

The closures are scheduled to commence between the dates of 17 April 2025 and 26 September 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures are required for the safety of the public while transporting materials to the storage area by heavy vehicles. Also new drainage and surfacing works to Hole Farm Lane is to be undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 17 April 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bellhouse Lane, South Weald) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bellhouse Lane, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Coxtie Green Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th May 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA190EPGRHAH0081AB – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

No alternative route is available.

The Order will come into effect on 16th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 430m south west of its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 755m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th May 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFRRG67XSB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while accessing underground structure and tree cutting works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hall Road, Church Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 16th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ongar Road, Stondon Massey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ongar Road, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 705m north then north west of its junction with Chivers Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410265044 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while hydrant repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Ongar Road, Mill Lane, The Street, Chelmsford Road, High Ongar Road Straightening, High Ongar Road, Four Wantz Roundabout, High Street, Coopers Hill, Brentwood Road, Ongar Road, Blackmore Road, Hook End Road, Hook End Lane, Tipps Cross Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 16th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Childerditch Lane, West Horndon) (Temporary Introduction of 3 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 3T weight restriction in that length of Childerditch Lane, West Horndon in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 135m north west of its junction with St Marys Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction (the bridge). The restriction is scheduled to continue on 5th April 2025 for 530 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20166415973 – Network Rail). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce for bridge structure protection by Network Rail.

An alternative route is available via Childerditch Lane, Southend Arterial Road, Slip Road from A127 To B186 Westbound, Warley Street, St Marys Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 5th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.10) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the said length of road in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 2nd April 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Various Roads, Borough of Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.11) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the said lengths of roads in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close the said length of road in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.

(Wigley Bush Lane, South Weald) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wigley Bush Lane, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 140m north west of its junction with Weald Park Way for a distance of approximately 305m in a north westerly then north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2025 for 25 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013320271 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Weald Road, Weald Park Way and vice versa (with access only into Wigley Bush Lane).

The Order came into effect on 2nd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
