THE M54 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 4, SHROPSHIRE)
(SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited
(Company no. 9346363) has made an Order on the M54 Motorway, in the County of Shropshire, to enable white lining and essential carriageway remedial repairs to be carried out by the local authority on the roundabout at Junction 4. The effect of the Order will be to close –
(a) the slip road leading from the eastbound carriageway of the M54 at Junction 4; and
(b) the slip road leading from the westbound carriageway of the M54 at Junction 4.
The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Wednesday 23 April 2025 and continue for one night. The Order will come into force on Wednesday 16 April 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance or traffic officer purposes or vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
The diversion routes via Junction 3 of the M54, the A41 and the A5 Watling Street for the eastbound exit slip road and via Junction 5 of the M54 and the A5 Rampant Way for the westbound exit slip road will be signed.
