Medway, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

HEMPSTEAD VALLEY DRIVE, GILLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable highway maintenance works to be carried out -

Hempstead Valley Drive, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between Hungry Fox Roundabout and Chapel Lane. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Hempstead Road and Pear Tree Lane.

This order will come into force on Thursday, 17 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 17 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 7am and 7pm). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HIGH STREET, BROMPTON (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable highway maintenance works to be carried out -

High Street, Brompton - to be closed to all vehicular traffic. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Middle Street.

This order will come into force on Tuesday, 15 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 15 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 7am and 7pm). The order will
be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

MAGPIE HALL ROAD, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out -

Magpie Hall Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with New Road and the junction with Lester Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Chatham Hill, Luton Road and Castle Road.

This order will come into force on Saturday, 12 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

The works are due to commence on or after Saturday, 12 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within two days. The closures will then be repeated over the following two weekends (19/20 and 26/27 April). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
