DEDDF RHEOLEIDIO TRAFFIG FFYRDD 1984 - ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd Caer Odyn Eryrys yn Sir Ddinbych tua’r de o’i chyffordd ag Ochyr y Foel am bellter o oddeutu 100 metr.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith trydanol sy’n cael ei wneud gan O’Connor Utilities ar ran Scottish Power. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y llwybr amgen wedi’i arwyddo ac yn mynd â chi trwy’r ffordd Caer Odyn i The Lot, Blaen y Nant i’r gyffordd B5430 trwy enwtys i Fryn Nant, gyffordd y B5430 i lwybr Ty Draw, B5430 o gyffordd i B5430 i Bant y Gwyland, Pant y Gwyland i groesffordd Eryrys.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 14 Ebrill 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tan tua 21 Ebrill 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

CAER ODYN ERYRYS

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using Caer Odyn Eryrys in the County of Denbigh extending southwards from its junction with Ochyr y Foel for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate electrical works by O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via Caer Odyn to The Lot, Blaen y Nant to Ty Draw junction including spur to Bryn Nant, B5430 junction to Ty Draw track, B5430, from B5430 junction to Pant y Gwyland, Pant y Gwyland to Eryrys crossroads.

The Order is effective from 14th April 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 21st April 2025.
