What is happening?

THE HILLINGDON (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) (HAYES PARKING MANAGEMENT SCHEME) HY ZONES (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
THE HILLINGDON (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO.) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it proposes to make these Orders to:

1. Install ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.

2. Install blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:
i) Outside No. 68 East Avenue, Hayes
ii) Outside No. 135 Heather Lane, Yiewsley
iii) Opposite No. 9 Standale Grove, Ruislip
iv) Outside No. 5 Black Horse Parade, High Road, Eastcote
v) Outside No. 40 Triandra Way, Hayes
vi) Outside Nos. 136 - 142 Thirlmere Gardens, Northwood

3. Remove the redundant blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:
i) Outside No. 18 Hilliard Road, Northwood
ii) Outside No. 1 Meadway Gardens, Ruislip
iii) Outside No. 6 Brandville Road, West Drayton
iv) Outside No. 11 Petworth Gardens, Hillingdon
v) Outside No. 122 Tudor Road, Hayes
vi) Outside No. 5 Chamberlain Way, Eastcote
vii) The Glebe alongside No. 144 Coleridge Way, West Drayton

4. Remove the short stay parking place opposite Nos. 11 to 15 Blyth Road, Hayes and replace with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.

5. Introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following sections of road:
i) Parkway, Hillingdon – from its junction with Long Lane southwards to the southern extremity.
ii) Southcote Rise, Ruislip – from its junction with Westcote Rise southwards to its junction with Hill Lane.
iii) Westcote Rise, Ruislip – from its junction with Southcote Rise westwards to its junction with Orchard Close.

6. Install a loading bay operational ‘Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm’ in which a goods vehicle may load or unload for maximum period of 20 minutes in Crown Close, Hayes adjacent to Nos. 63 and 65 Station Road.

SCHEDULE – PROPOSED ‘AT ANY TIME’ WAITING RESTRICTIONS
CORONATION ROAD, HAYES – Extend the existing double yellow lines northwest of the junction with Carfax Road by 7 metres.
ICKENHAM ROAD, RUISLIP – Access road leading behind Station Parade, extend the existing double yellow lines opposite Nos. 1 and 2 Station Parade by 6.5 metres southwards.
MANTON CLOSE, HAYES – Extend the existing double yellow lines adjacent to No. 234 Botwell Lane eastwards, up to a point 12.5 northwest of the eastern boundary of No. 234 Botwell Lane.
ROUNDWAYS, RUISLIP – Across the entrance to Bell Close, between the northeastern boundary of No. 1 Roundways, northeastwards for a distance of 10 metres.
HIGH STREET, HAREFIELD – At the junction with Dexter Road.
DEXTER ROAD, HAREFIELD – At the junction with High Street, Harefield.
SILVERDALE ROAD, HAYES – Within the section of road southeast of the junction with Chalford Road, adjacent to and opposite No. 1 Chalford Road, including the conversion of some existing waiting restrictions.
KEATS WAY, WEST DRAYTON – Extend the existing double yellow lines on the west side of the road south of the junction with Coleridge Way by 5.5 metres southwards.
CORWELL GARDENS, HAYES – Both sides of the road on approach to Oleander House.
