What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BACK LANE, BROCKENHURST, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Ship Lane between its junction with Mill Lane and its junction with Church Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mill Lane, Lymington Road, Church Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 7th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 11th April 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to disconnect gas supply safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: stuart.rose@sgn.co.uk
