TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – FOREST ROAD, DENMEAD, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

That part of Forest Road between its junction with Lower Crabbick Lane and its junction with Inhams Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Hipley Road, Fareham Road, Shoot Hill, Staple Cross Lane, B2177, Bridge Street, West Street, High Street, Denmead Road, Bunkers Hill.

DURATION OF ORDER:

From 9th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30–15:30).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out pole testing. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
