PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER 2022
On 27 February 2025 the Secretary of State for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs confirmed the above-named Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create Public Footpath No.117 in the parish of Saltfleetby St Clement, 2 metres wide, commencing at Sea View Road at OSGR TF 4640 9237 and running in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 55 metres to terminate at the Saltfleetby Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve car park at OSGR TF 4644 9240.The total length of footpath added is approximately 55 metres as shown between points F-J on Order drawing 2021/028/PPO327/A4.

On 27 February 2025 the Secretary of State for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs confirmed the above-named Order with amendments. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert that part of Public Footpath Number 55 in the Parish of Saltfleetby St Clement running from Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TF 4589 9317 (A) in a generally south south easterly direction for approximately 442 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Footpath No.55 at OSGR TF 4612 9280 (B). The total length of footpath to be diverted to be approximately 442 metres as shown between points A-B on Order plan 2017/014/PPO327/A4 (1 of 2). Also that part of Public Footpath No.55 running from an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Footpath No.55 at OSGR TF 4630 9255 (D) in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 163 metres to OSGR TF 4640 9243 (E) then continuing in a generally southerly direction for approximately 56 metres to OSGR TF 4640 9237 (F) then running in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 209 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Footpath No.55 at OSGR TF 4652 9220 (G). The total length of footpath to be diverted to be approximately 428 metres as shown between points D-E-F-G on Order plan 2017/014/ PPO327/A4 (2 of 2) TO AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE in the Parish of Saltfleetby St Clement to be 2 metres wide running from an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Footpath No.55 at OSGRTF 4612 9280 (B) in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 16 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGRTF 4611 9279 (C). The total length of footpath to be added to be approximately 16 metres as shown between points B-C on Order plan 2017/014/PPO327/ A4 (1 of 2). Also a public footpath to be 2 metres wide running from an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Footpath No.55 at OSGR TF 4630 9255 (D) in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 54 metres to Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TF 4634 9258 (H) then running in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 208 metres to OSGR TF 4646 9242 (I) then continuing in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 24 metres to OSGR TF 4644 9240 (J) then running across the public car park in a generally south south easterly direction for approximately 17 metres to OSGR TF 4645 9239 (K) then continuing in a generally south south easterly direction for approximately 172 metres to OSGRTF 4655 9225 (L) then continuing in a generally south south westerly direction for approximately 57 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Footpath No.55 at OSGR TF 4652 9220 (G). The total length of footpath to be added to be approximately 532 metres as shown between points D-H-I-J-K-L-G on Order plan 2017/014/PPO327/A4 (2 of 2). Limitations: 1) Kissing Gate - Point B - OSGR TF 4612 9280, 1.2m wide. 2) Gap (path narrows) - Point H – OSGR TF 4634 9258, 0.8m wide. 3) Kissing Gate - Point K - OSGR TF 4645 9239, 1.2m wide. 4) Kissing Gate – no plan ref (added by Inspector) – OSGR TF 4645 9243, 1.2m wide. 5) Kissing Gate – Point I – OSGR TF 4646 9242, 1.2m wide. All gates BS5709:2018 compliant. On 27 February 2025 the Secretary of State for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs confirmed the above-named Order.The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the whole width of Public Bridleway No.1059 in the parish of Saltfleetby St Clement running from an unaffected part of Public Bridleway No. 1059 at OSGR TF 4639 9238 (A) in a generally north westerly direction through the curtilage of the property ‘Sandbanks’ then along a track through a yard between offices and outbuildings for approximately 197 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGR TF 4626 9252 (B). The total length of bridleway diverted is approximately 197 metres as shown between points A-B on Order drawing number 2022/001/PPO327/A4. Also the whole width of Public Bridleway No.1059 running from an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGR TF 4618 9261 (C) in a generally northerly then curving in a
generally north north westerly then northerly direction for approximately 205 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGR TF 4611 9279 (D). The total length of bridleway diverted is approximately 205 metres as shown between points C-D on Order drawing number 2022/001/PPO327/A4 TO ALTERNATIVE ROUTES in the parish of Saltfleetby St Clement being a 3 metre wide bridleway commencing at an unaffected part of Public Bridleway No. 1059 at OSGR TF 4639 9238 (A) and running in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 199 metres along a track then to the rear of outbuildings, then finally curving generally northerly to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGR TF 4626 9252 (B). The total length of bridleway added is approximately 199 metres as shown between points A-B on Order drawing number 2022/001/PPO327/A4. Also a 3 metre wide bridleway commencing at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGR TF 4618 9261 (C) and running in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 187 metres to OSGR TF 4606 9275 (E) then continuing in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 58 metres to terminate at an unaffected part of Saltfleetby St Clement Public Bridleway No.1059 at OSGR TF 4611 9279 (D). The total length of bridleway added to be approximately 245 metres as shown between points C-E-D on Order drawing number 2022/001/PPO327/A4. Limitation: 1.5m wide bridle gate at OSGR TF 4606 9275 compliant to BS5709:2018.

PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2018
On 27 February 2025 the Secretary of State for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs confirmed the above-named Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to extinguish Public Footpath Number 55 in the Parish of Skidbrooke with Saltfleet Haven running from Main Road at OSGR TF 4561 9341 (A) in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 50 metres to OSGR TF 4563 9337 (B) then continuing in a generally easterly direction, curving to a south easterly direction for approximately 270 metres to terminate at Skidbrooke with Saltfleet Haven Public Bridleway Number 1099 at OSGR TF 4587 9327 (C). The total length of footpath to be extinguished to be approximately 320 metres as shown between points A-B-C on Order drawing number 2017/013/PPO327/A4.
