What is happening?

The West Lothian Council 

(Alderstone Bridge, Livingston) (Temporary Road Restriction And Traffic Regulation) Order 2025 - TTO/25/133

The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the undernoted footpaths will be closed from 0001hrs on 21 April to 2359hrs on 24 April 2025 to enable a special bridge inspection to be carried out.

Pedestrians will be diverted as shown below. Further information isavailable from the Roads Manager on 01506 280000.

FOOTPATH CLOSURES
Location: Riverside footpaths to the north (Almond Park North) and south under Alderstone Bride, Alderstone Road, Livingston

Diversion: (1) Diversion route for Almond path north is to unclassified footpath, footpath south of Main Street, footpath south of Quarry Wood Court, to subway under Alderstone Road and to unclassified footpath and vice versa. 

(2) Diversion route for Almond path south is to footpath on Alderstone Place, crossing Alderstone Road and on to unclassified footpath and vice versa
