TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2025

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BRAMPTON – 1) Mill Road from its junction with Buxton Road for 100m westwards and 2) Marsham Road from its junction with Buxton Road for 30m eastwards to facilitate installation works for new drainage system from 14th April to 2nd May 2025 (may continue until 13th June 2025).

GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD - Salhouse Road from its junction with Sandhole Lane for 450m northwards and 240m southwards to facilitate installation of a new fibre network from 14th to 18th April and between 09:00 and 15:30 on 25th April 2025 (may continue until 6th June 2025).

GREAT YARMOUTH - Market Row from 65m east of its junction with Howard Street North for 20m eastwards to facilitate duct installation works from 14th to 16th April 2025 (may continue until 28th May 2025).

GREAT YARMOUTH - Caister Road from its junction with St Pauls Way for 30m eastwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works between 19:00 and 23:00 from 14th to 16th April 2025 (may continue until 28th May 2025).

HAPPISBURGH - Whimpwell Street from its junction with Coronation Road for 135m south–eastwards to facilitate installation of a new sewer connection from 18th to 22nd April 2025 (may continue until 3rd June 2025).

RACKHEATH & SALHOUSE – 1) Muck Lane/Station Road from junction with Rackheath FP5 to junction with Howletts Loke and 2) Station Road from its junction with Howletts Close to junction with Norwich Road to facilitate cabling works from 14th April to 5th May 2025 only whilst signs indicate closures are in place, (may continue until 5th November 2025).

STODY - Thornage Road from 450m north of its junction with The Green for 150m to facilitate a safety inspection on a redundant railway bridge from 09:30–15:30 on 15th April 2025 (may continue until 27th May 2025).

ii) THEY HAVE MADE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ACLE – The Street from 55m north of its junction with Reedham Road for 200m northwards to facilitate installation works for new fibre network. Traffic shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 7th to 22nd April 2025 (may continue until the 3rd June 2025).

ANTINGHAM – Southrepps Road from 20m south of its junction with Pond Road for 30m south westwards to facilitate drainage works from 7th to 10th April 2025 (may continue until 22nd May 2025).

ASHBY WITH OBY – Heath Road from 60m east of its junction with B1152 Heath Road for 20m eastwards to facilitate works for a new water connection from 7th to 10th April 2025 (may continue until 22nd May 2025).

AYLSHAM – Heydon Road from 280m west of its junction with Sandy Lane for 150m westwards to facilitate pole testing works on the 8th April 2025 (may continue until 20th May 2025).
