What is happening?

SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF CYCLE LANE) (TTO 2334) ORDER 2025

(WESTERN ESPLANADE OUTSIDE GENTING CASINO, SOUTHEND-ON-SEA)

Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has proposed to make the above Order. The effect of the Order will be as follows:

Southend-on-Sea City Council will be closing part of the Cycle Lane on Western Esplanade outside Genting Casino to facilitate use of a Crane.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a temporary prohibition Cycle Lane on Western Esplanade outside Genting Casino, Southend-on-Sea.

The Order and prohibitions will come into effect on 14th April 2025 this Order will continue in force for 6 months.
