Tanyard Lane - Temporary Closure To Install New Underground Cable

Temporary Closure of Tanyard Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Tanyard Lane - from 126 metres north of the junction with Lower Westholme Road, northwards for a total distance of 42 metres.
This Order will enable National Grid to install new underground cable.
The Order becomes effective on 10th April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th April 2025 and last until 17th April 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 for a total of 3 days.
