What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 ICEHOUSE ROAD (PART) & PARK STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Icehouse Road and Park Street, at the junction of Anlaby Road, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will take effect on 28th April 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 5pm commencing 28th April 2025 until 28th May 2025.

DRYPOOL BRIDGE & PROW 11
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Drypool Bridge and PROW 11 over the River Hull, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the execution of strengthening and repair works to Drypool Bridge.
The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 2nd May 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

PRESTON ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Preston Road, between Ryehill Grove and Exeter Grove, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to install and rig a 5g Pole.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 6th May 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in 2 nights, between 8pm and 6am on 6th/7th May 2025 and 8th/9th May 2025.

HULL STREETS MICRO SURFACING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Etherington Drive, Beresford Avenue, Grafton Street, Reynoldson Street, Sharp Street, Maple Street, Cave Street, Park Grove, Duesbery Street, Wellington Lane, Collingwood Street, Stafford Street, Gershwin Avenue, Valentine Close, Crispin Close, Wincolmlee, Huntingdon Street, Brazil Street, Field Street, Cherry Tree Avenue, Southbridge Road, Lime Tree Avenue, Victor Street, Lambwath Road, Rensburg Street, Wynburg Street, Willows Avenue, The Broadway and the suspension of one way traffic on Marshall Street, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works being carried out to micro surface overlay of existing surface without planing off, raising of ironworks and replacement of road markings.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 6th May 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 6pm, for up to 2 days per road during the period 6th May 2025 to 13th June 2025.

CARDEN AVENUE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Carden Avenue, adjacent to number 1, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during new customer connection works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 6th May 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 6th May 2025 until 14th May 2025.
