  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 2 April 2025 the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

  2. The general effect of the Prescribed Routes Order will be to introduce contra flow cycle facilities in Ponsonby Road.

  3. The general effect of the Waiting and loading restriction Order will be to upgrade certain lengths of single yellow line to double yellow lines.

  4. The general effects of the Parking Places Order will be to remove a length of residents parking bay at the side of No. 6 and replace with a double yellow lines.

  5. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, which come into operation on 7 April 2025 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

    6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004:

    The Wandsworth (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. ) Order 202

    The Wandsworth (Permit Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. ) Order 202

    The Wandsworth (Clapham Junction) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

    The Wandsworth (Tooting Broadway) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

    The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

    The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common & Tooting Bec) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

    The Wandsworth (Clapham South and Balham) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

    1. The general effect of *The Wandsworth (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. ) Order 2019 is to:

      (a) designate the following parking places for the leaving without charge and for any period of a disabled person’s vehicle displaying a disabled person’s badge (referred to in this notice as a “mandatory bay”) outside:

    41a Childebert Road SW17

    19 Dewey Street SW17

    39 Harbridge Avenue SW15

    173 Lessingham Avenue SW17

    67 Mandrake Road SW17

    77a Selkirk Road SW17

    1. The general effect of *The Wandsworth (Permit Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. ) Order 202 to

      (a) re-designate the following mandatory bays as parking places for the leaving without charge and for any period of a disabled person’s vehicle displaying the disabled resident’s parking permit numbered as specified below (referred to in this notice as a “resident-specific bay”):

      (b) Remove the following disabled persons’ parking bays and replace with the adjoining CPZ parking bay.

    1. In so far as the mandatory bays mentioned in paragraph 2 above are within Controlled Parking Zones, the general effect of the Parking Places Orders relating to the said zones is to shorten, re-designate or lengthen the adjoining CPZ parking places to take account of the proposed new, relocated and revoked mandatory bays and resident-specific bays.

    2. Copies of documents and plans giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

    3. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting the reference W/ECS/TMO/2095) within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

    EXPERIMENTAL PARKING PLACES

    E-SCOOTERS AND E-BICYCLES

    The London Borough of Wandsworth (Electric Scooter and Dockless Bicycles) (Free Parking Places) (No. 1) Experimental Traffic Order 2025

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 2 April 2025 made the above Order under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

    2. The general effect of the Order will be, on an experimental basis, to introduce parking bays for the use of e-scooters and dockless e-bikes at the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

    3. The parking bays will only be available for the leaving of e-scooters available through the experimental trial (being run by Transport for London, London Councils and participating London Boroughs) and dockless e-bikes hired through authorised operators.

    4. Each bay will be 5 metres in length (unless otherwise specified) and the Schedule also includes details of the existing parking places that will be replaced by the e-scooter and e-bike parking bays.

    5. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 14 April 2025, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six months from the date on which the Orders were made in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

    6. Whilst the Order remains in force the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering, or some person authorised by him, may modify or suspend the Order or any provision contained in them if it appears to him or that other person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Order runs.

      1. The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Any person wishing to object to the making of Orders for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation may, within the above mentioned period of six months, send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting the reference 2096).

      2. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
