THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
COULSDON ROAD, COULSDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by SGN to install new gas mains, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Coulsdon Road.
Whilst the said works are taking place Coulsdon Road will be closed at its junction with Hartley Down.
During the closure, the alternative route for traffic will be via Stoats Nest Road, Brighton Road, Farthing Way, Marlpit Lane and Coulsdon Road, as appropriately signed.
The Order will come into operation on 05 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 21 April 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

DOWNLANDS ROAD, PURLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by SES Water, they have made an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Downlands Road, Purley.
Whilst the said works are taking place Downlands Road will be closed outside No. 114 Downlands Road.
Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Smitham Downs Road, Woodcrest Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 07 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 11 April 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit parking in Nicholson Road, Croydon.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Parking bays in Nicholson Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply between its junctions with Lower Addiscombe Road and Grant Place from 07 April to 25 April 2025.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit parking in Nicholson Road, Croydon.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Parking bays in Nicholson Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply between its junctions with Lower Addiscombe Road and Grant Place from 07 April to 25 April 2025.
b) Parking bays in Nicholson Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply between its junctions with Grant Place and Grant Road from 28 April to 09 May 2025.
The Order will come into operation on 07 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

NURSERY ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate hydrant installation works on behalf of Thames Water they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Nursery Road, Thornton Heath.
Whilst the said works are taking place Nursery Road will be closed to vehicular traffic at its junction with the High Street, Thornton Heath.
During the closure the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via High Street, Whitehorse Road, Zion Place, Zion Road and vice versa, as appropriately signposted.
The Order will come into operation on 07 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SUTHERLAND ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate rainwater manhole maintenance works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sutherland Road.
Whilst the said works are taking place Sutherland Road will be closed between its junctions with Canterbury Road and Midhurst Avenue.
During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via Canterbury Road, Wentworth Road and Mitcham Road, or via Canterbury Road, London Road, Dennett Road, Mitcham Road and Sutherland Road.
The Order will come into operation on 05 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed overnight between 9pm on 05 April and 5am on 06 April. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

DUPPAS HILL TERRACE, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to a gas main by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Duppas Hill Terrace, Croydon.
During the work Duppas Hill Terrace will be closed between the northern boundary of No. 31 Duppas Hill Terrace and the southern boundary of the Old Town Youth Centre, Charles Major Centre, Duppas Hill Terrace.
Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted vehicles will be via Duppas Hill Lane, Old Town, Rectory Grove, Waddon New Road and Waddon Road, or via Waddon Road, Harrison’s Rise, Ravenswood Road, Warrington Road and Duppas Hill Road.
The Order will come into operation on 22 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within twelve days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle or person involved in conducting the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

VINCENT ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Vincent Road, Croydon.
During the works:
a) Vincent Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 8 and 10 and Nos. 9 and 11 Vincent Road.
b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply outside Nos. 8a and 11 Vincent Road.
Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Vincent Road, Leicester Road, Stretton Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 23 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
