NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

• Phase 1: Church Road, Whitchurch from its junction with Churchways extending east to its junction with A37 Bristol Road. USRN: 47904493.

• Phase 1: Church Road, Whitchurch from its junction with Churchways extending west to the location of the bollards (dead-end).

• Phase 2: Church Road, Whitchurch from the bollards extending west for approximately 145 metres to the border with Bristol City Council.

• Phase 2: Washing Pound Lane, Whitchurch from its junction with Church Road extending north west for approximately 117 metres to the border with Bristol City Council. USRN: 47904494.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to carry out renovation works to a water main from the 7th April 2025 for a maximum period of 8 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

• Phase 1: Works are anticipated to take place between 07/04/25-06/06/25

• Phase 2: Works are anticipated to take place between 09/06/25-05/09/25

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Phase 1, Clockwise: Church Road – Churchways – St Nicholas Road – Maggs Lane (one-way) – Washing Pound Lane – Ridgeway Lane – A37 Wells Road/Bristol Road.

Phase 1, Anti-clockwise: A37 Bristol Road – Maggs Lane – St Nicholas Road – Churchways – Church Road.

Phase 2: Church Lane – Half Acre Lane – Whitchurch Lane – Washing Pound Lane – vice versa.

(THTTC3724 MOORLEDGE ROAD, STOWEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Moorledge Road, Stowey from its junction with the A368 extending north west for approximately 155 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach engineer to work safely on overhead structure on the 10th April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30-15:30hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of A362 Radstock Road, Midsomer Norton from its junction with North Road/A362 Station Road extending east to its junction with Wheelers Hill. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out decayed pole changes and fault repair works on the 6th April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to take place over TWO Sundays between 08:00-18:00hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and motor vehicles and suspend all parking to vehicles, in the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 1.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out resurfacing and associated works from the 22nd April 2025, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and will not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. The anticipated timescale for each closure is listed in Schedule 1 below.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

• Beauchamp Avenue, Midsomer Norton from its northern junction with A367 Fosseway extending west for approximately 100 metres. USRN: 47961858.

• Beauchamp Avenue, Midsomer Norton from its southern junction with A367 Fosseway extending west for approximately 100 metres. USRN: 47961858.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors to carry out foul drainage installation for the Barratt Homes development on the 22nd April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for EIGHT WEEKS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The alternative route will be via Beauchamp
Avenue northern junction or Beauchamp Avenue southern junction

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to install a new gas connection on the 8th April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS.

Access will be maintained for residents.
