VARIATION OF PARKING CHARGES NOTICE (NO. 5A) 2025

The City of Edinburgh Council in exercise of their powers under Section 46a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, by Act of Council of 20 February 2025 have varied the parking charges set out in Schedule 5, and applying to the pay & display and shared use parking places in the roads listed below, as depicted on the relevant map and payable in terms of, Part 4 of the City of Edinburgh Council (Traffic Regulation; Restrictions on Waiting, Loading and Unloading, Stopping and Parking Places) Designation and Traffic Regulation Order 2025. The effect of the variation will be to amend the charges set out in Schedule 5 in the pay & display and shared use parking places depicted on the relevant map, as followsNew Charges -

In the pay & display and shared use parking places provided on the roads listed below at which the max length of stay permitted is 1, 2, 4 or 6 hrs the parking charge will increase from £3.80/hr to £4.20/hr. The min charge will be £0.20 for a period of 2 mins. The resulting visitors’ permit charge will be, in the case of 90-minute permits, £2.76/permit and for any resident eligible for the enhanced number of visitors permits, £1.38/permit. The new parking charges will come into effect on

28 April 2025.
