High Street, Windermere - Temporary No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading Restrictions due to Utility Works

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of the A5074 High Street, Windermere, (northwest side) from a point approx. 15m northwest of its junction with Victoria Street, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 15m.

The Order will come into operation on 22nd April 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 15 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
