What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CARNARVON ROAD AREA, WEST BRIDGFORD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (8352A)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at West Bridgford in the Borough of Rushcliffe:
1. Vehicles will be prohibited from Waiting at Any Time along the following lengths of road: - CARNARVON ROAD, WEST BRIDGFORD (the north-west side)
From its junction with Exchange Road in a southwesterly direction for 10 metres
CARNARVON ROAD, WEST BRIDGFORD (the south-east side)
From its junction with Exchange Road in a southwesterly direction for 10 metres
From a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Stanley Road in a south-westerly direction to a point 10 metres southwest of that junction
EXCHANGE ROAD, WEST BRIDGFORD (the south-west side)
From a point 7 metres north-west of its junction with Carnarvon Road in a south-easterly direction to a point 7 metres south-east of that junction
STANLEY ROAD, WEST BRIDGFORD (both sides)
From its junction with Carnarvon Road in a south-easterly direction for 11 metres

THIS ORDER SHALL COME INTO FORCE ON 7TH APRIL 2025
The restrictions are designed to prevent parking at these junctions which is causing issues with visibility.
