NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hatield 136B, heading west and south from Kennelwood Road to junction with Queensway, for an approximate distance of 150m.
Alternative route: via Hatfield 136C
The purpose of the Order is to enable regeneration works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 04 April 2025 for up to 5 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ALDENHAM ROAD, LETCHMORE HEATH)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aldenham Road, Letchmore Heath from a point 55m north of its junction with Butterfly Lane north westwards a distance of approximately 264m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Aldenham Road, Butterfly Lane, A5183 (Watling Street/Cobden Hill/Watling Street), Park Road, B462 (Watford Road/Radlett Road), Round Bush Lane, Primrose Lane, Grange Lane, The Green and Aldenham Road.
The Order is needed because service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BRIDE HALL LANE, AYOT ST LAWRENCE/WHEATHAMPSTEAD)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bride Hall Lane, Ayot St Lawrence/Wheathampstead from its junction with Bibbs Hall Lane south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Codicote Road, a distance of approximately 1837m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Codicote Road and Hill Farm Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-
that length of Pound Lane, Shenley from its junction with Rectory Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with B5378 London Road, a distance of approximately 161m.
An alternative route will be via Rectory Lane and B5378 London Road.
that length of Rectory Lane, Shenley from its junction with B5378 London Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 515m.
An alternative route will be via B5378 London Road, Harris Lane and Rectory Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Overstone Road, Harpenden from a point in line with the south eastern boundary of No.55 Overstone Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 61m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Overstone Road, B652 Station Road, Cowper Road, Gilpin Green and Overstone Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Tippendell Lane, Chiswell Green from its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout north westwards to its southernmost junction with the service road fronting Nos.46-60 Tippendell Lane, a distance of approximately 37m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A405 North Orbital Road, B4630 Watford Road and Tippendell Lane.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Branch Road, Park Street from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.5 Branch Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”).
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Luton Lane, Redbourn from its junction with A5183 Redbourn Bypass north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Kinsbourne Green Lane, a distance of approximately 750m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A5183 Redbourn Bypass, B487 Redbourn Road, A1081 (St Albans Road/High Street/Luton Road), The Common and Kinsbourne Green Lane.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
that length of Pickford Hill/Milford Hill, Harpenden from a point in line with the western boundary of No.1 Whitings Close north eastwards, south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Common Lane, a distance of approximately 525m.
An alternative route will be via Pickford Hill, B653 Lower Luton Road and Common Lane.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Marshalls Heath Lane, Wheathampstead from its junction with B653 Lower Luton Road north westwards, north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with The Slype, a distance of approximately 1836m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B653 Lower Luton Road, B651 Lamer Lane and The Slype.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (1984 Act) to introduce new waiting restrictions, a 20 mph zone in St Albans and a new 30 mph speed limit in part of Cottonmill Lane, St Albans as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. The Orders will come into effect on Friday 9 May 2025.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new speed limit restrictions on parts of St Albans as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
It is also proposed under sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install speed tables and speed cushions in those lengths of Drakes Drive, Beaumont Avenue, Clarence Road, Thirlmere Drive and Camp Road, St Albans as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
