Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Cinnamon Ln, Poulton North (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cinnamon Ln from its jct. with Lyndale Ave to its jct. with Parkfields Ln. The Order will be effective from 7th May 2025. The closure is for a period of 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm. The alternative route will be via Enfield Park Rd, Blackbrook Ave, Insall Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach to carry out pole replacement work.

Liverpool Rd, Great Sankey (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Liverpool Rd between Sankey Brook & Kent Rd. The Order will be effective from 8th May 2025. The restrictions are for a period of 24 weeks, between 8:30am & 5:30pm. The alternative route will be via Penketh Rd (A562), Sankey Way (A57), Old Liverpool Rd & vice versa. The restrictions are required for drainage works.

Owen St (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Owen St from its jct. with Winwick Rd to its jct. with Dallam Ln. The Order will be effective from 22nd April 2025. The closure is for a period of 2 weeks. The alternative route will be via Winwick Rd, Pinners Brow, Winwick St, Tanners Ln, Dallam Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out network diversion work.

Pillmoss Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Pillmoss Ln from its jct. with Summer Ln to the borough boundary with Cheshire West & Chester. The Order will be effective from 30th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm. The alternative route will be via Summer Ln, Newton Ln, Grimsditch Ln, Tarporley Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach access to its overhead network.

Various Roads (Various Restrictions) (BSIP Phase 1) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which will be as follows:
Prohibition of Movement: Prohibit the left turn movement for vehicles travelling westbound on Long Ln wishing to gain access to Winwick Rd.
Prohibition of Driving: Long Ln between its junction with Fisher Ave and its junction with Winwick Rd; Ireland St between its junction with Winwick Rd and its junction with North Ave; Corbet Ave Passageway Rear of 20 to 30 for its entire length; Winwick Rd (unclassified) between its junction with Winwick Rd A49 and its junction with Silver St.
Prohibition of Stopping: Entire lengths of road include Bluecoat St, Collegiate Rd, Hopwood St, Jockey St, Oliver St. Part lengths of road include: Ireland St from Winwick Rd to North Ave; Kerfoot St from Winwick Rd to Folly Ln; Longford St from Winwick Rd to Hale St; Long Ln from Winwick Rd to Northway; Watkin St from Longford St to Melville Cres; Winwick Rd from Long Ln to Orford Ln.
Footway Closures: Entire lengths of footway affected include Alder Ln, Bluecoat St, Corbet Ave, Hopwood St, Ireland St, Jockey St, Jubilee Way, Kerfoot St, Longford St, Oliver St, Watkin St, Winwick Rd.
Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Winwick Rd) (Revocation & Bus & Cycle Lane) Order 2010 in so far as it relates to Article 6, Schedule 2 and the Bus Lane on Winwick Rd (North bound Carriageway) – In a northbound direction between its junction with Winwick Rd A49 to a point 59.5 metres south of its junction with Winwick Rd, A49.
The Order will be effective from 6th May 2025. The restrictions will be carried out in phases as follows:
Prohibition of Stopping from 6th May 2025 for 34 weeks.
Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane from 9th May 2025 for 5 months.
Prohibition of Driving (Winwick Rd (unclassified)) from 9th May 2025 for 5 months.
Footway Closures from 21st June 2025 for 27 weeks.
Prohibition of Driving (Corbet Ave Passageway Rear of 20 to 30) from 21st June 2025 for 27 weeks.
Prohibition of Movement from 16th July 2025 for 8 days, between 7pm and 6am.
Prohibition of Driving (Long Ln) from 23rd July 2025 for 3 weeks.
Prohibition of Driving (Ireland St) from 6th August 2025 for 16 weeks.
The alternative routes will be as follows:
Prohibition of Driving (Long Ln) via Long Ln, School Rd, Orford Green, Orford Rd, Birchwood Way, Woolston Grange Ave, Manchester Rd, Lythgoes Ln, Winwick Rd and vice versa.
Prohibition of Driving (Ireland St) will be signed on site.
Footway Closures will be signed on site.
The closure is required to allow for the construction works associated with BSIP.

Broomfields Rd, Delphfields Rd & Lyons Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Broomfields Rd from its junction with London Rd to its junction with Broomfields Rd; Delphfields Rd from its junction with London Rd to its junction with Burfield Dr; Lyons Ln from its junction with London Rd to its junction with Park Cres; Lyons Ln (westbound traffic) from its junction with Longwood Rd to its junction with Park Cres. The Order will be effective from 7th April 2025. The closures are for a period of 8 weeks and will be carried out in phases as follows:
Phase 1 will involve the closures of Broomfields Rd and Delphfields Rd from 7th April 2025 for 15 days.
Phase 2 will involve the closure of Lyons Ln from 7th April 2025 for 15 days.
Phase 3 will involve the closure of Lyons Ln to westbound traffic and will commence upon completion of Phase 2.
The alternative routes will be as follows: Broomfields Rd via Greenway, Dingleway, London Rd and vice versa; Delphfields Rd via Burfield Dr, Windmill Ln, Quarry Ln and vice versa; Lyons Ln via Longwood Rd, London Rd and vice versa. The closures are required to allow for Scottish Power to install a new HV cable.

Park Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Park Ln from its junction with Houghs Ln to its junction with Firs Ln. The Order will be effective from 14th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 2 weeks. An alternative route will be signed on site. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out pole replacement work.

The temporary restrictions will be in place as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
