(ST JOHN’S ROAD & TEMPLELAND ROAD)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/45
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for road network infrastructure upgrade works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Templeland Rd, at its jnct with St John’s Rd; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) St John’s Rd, from the eastern kerbline of Victoria Park Ter, westwards to 81m west of the western kerbline of Templeland Rd; & (ii) Templeland Rd, from its jnct with St John’s Rd, northwards for 47m. Existing restrictions may be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The Greenways Order 1997 will be suspended in relation to the no waiting at any time restrictions on the affected sections of St John’s Rd & Templeland Rd, to facilitate the works. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via St John’s Rd & Corstorphine Bank Drv. The order shall have effect from 7/4/25 to 24/6/25.
