DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Crichel & Witchampton as listed: [i] Unnamed Road, Moor Crichel between Mill Hill Lodge and a point approximately 450 metres west; [ii] Longmans Road, Moor Crichel between Crichel Lane and a point approximately 550 metres north; [iii] Crichel Lane, Moor Crichel between Longmans Road and Lawrence Lane; [iv] Lawrence Lane, Witchampton between Crichel Lane and Lawrence Lane; [v] Unnamed Road, Witchampton between The Old Post Office and Diana Cottage. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 7 May 2025.
This Order will enable Upton Specialised Tree Services Ltd to carry out tree works in the highway.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.

Temporary Closure of Unnamed Road, Holt
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Unnamed Road, Holt between Broomhill and Laurel Lodge, a distance of approximately 383 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6 May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 May 2025.
This Order will enable Wessex Internet, safe access to carry out fibre cable installation works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.

Temporary Closure of Ringwood Road Service Road, St Leonards and St Ives
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Ringwood Road Service Road, St Leonards And St Ives between 162 and Woodside Road, a distance of approximately 70 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 28 April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 May 2025.
This Order will enable SGN to carry out gas main replacement works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a "clearway" to prevent stopping or parking on the carriageway of Cowgrove Road, from its junction with St Margaret's Hill (B3082) in a westerly direction for approximately 1.31 kilometres.
