Halton - Multiple Traffic Notices

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (DEACON ROAD, WIDNES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Road(s) affected: Deacon Road, Widnes - from numbers 58 to 46 (one-way)

Date Order to come into effect: 5 April 2025

Note: the closure is to allow for gas mains replacement works and is expected to be over a period of 10 days. For further information contact: 07773 593742.

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (HALTON LODGE AVENUE, RUNCORN) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Road(s) affected: Halton Lodge Avenue, Runcorn

Date Order to come into effect: 7 April 2025

Note: the closure is to allow for 110m of duct to be installed and is expected to be over approximately 10 days. For further information contact: 08000 282229.

THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (ASHBOURNE AVENUE, RUNCORN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Road(s) affected: Ashbourne Avenue, Runcorn

Date Order to come into effect: 9 April 2025

Note: the closure is to allow excavation for new ducting in carriageway and is expected to take 3 days. For further information contact: 03700 500792.

Reason for making the Orders: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the roads should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.

Effect of the Orders: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the roads.

Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.

Maximum duration of the Orders: 18 months from the date the Orders come into effect.
