LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Cavendish Road, Leeds) (Temporary Suspension of Use of Parking Bays)

Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because telecoms cable installation works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or be in any of those parking bays located along Cavendish Road Leeds, extending for: a. 16.65m, at the junction leading to Victoria Rd. b 32.78m between Property No.1 and the junction leading to Back Cavendish Rd. c. 35.2m between and adjacent to Property Nos.1 & 27.d. 27.62m between Nos.29 & 39. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 28th April 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Thursday 1st May 2025. The parking bays suspension will be in place between 08:00 and 18:00 hours each day to facilitate the works. G Moate. Ref: ECO2500067

(Studio Road, Leeds)(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because service connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Studio Road, Leeds, in a southerly direction between its junctions with Burley Road and Burley Access Road. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available for vehicles heading a NW direction via Burley Road, Willow Road & Kirkstall Road and for vehicles heading in a SE direction via Burley Road, Burley Street, Park Lane, Westgate, Wellington Street & Kirkstall Road. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 30th April 2025. The closure will be in place for 24hrs per day. A Coultate.

(Sugar Hill Close & Oulton Drive, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Use) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Yorkshire Water sewer diversion works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Sugar Hill Close, Leeds from outside No.5 Sugar Hill Drive to the bus turning circle on Oulton Drive. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park along Sugar Hill Close; from outside No; 5 Sugar Hill Drive to the bus turning circle on Oulton Drive Provided That residents of the flats on Sugar Hill Close may continue to park their vehicles along it. 3. No person shall proceed on foot along the footway opposite the bus turning circle on Oulton Drive, Leeds in the Rothwell Ward. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available and signposted on site. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained through use of 4-way traffic signals and vehicle actuation. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 14th April 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 23rd May 2025.

(Ridge Road, Micklefield, Leeds) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for which lorries making deliveries will need extra time to turn in and out of the site, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 30mph along Ridge Road, Micklefield, Leeds in the Kippax and Methley Ward, from the vicinity of its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 800m towards Selby Road. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 21st April 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 15th August 2025.

(Queen Street, Stourton, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Westbound Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because development and footway works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) , Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel westbound along Queen Street, Stourton, Leeds, in the vicinity of its junction with Wakefield Road (A639).A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Queen Street, Pontefract Road, Wakefield Road. The Order is intended to come into operation at 08:00 hours on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 at 08:00 hrs and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 17:00 hours on Friday 2nd May 2025.

(Hares Road, Harehills, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Disabled Parking Bay Suspension) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for accessing the water chambers in the road, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hares Road, Leeds, at its junctions with Cross Pasture Road and Hares Mount. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park in the disabled parking bay outside No.2 Hares Mount. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The closure will be in place between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours on each day. The disabled parking bay will be temporarily relocated to Beside No. 173 Hares Road; 10m from the junction of Back Hares Mount (westbound carriageway). The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 14th April 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.1) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN due to forestry operations taking place including tree felling and machinery operation, on or near the under mentioned footpath, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed on foot along Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.1, in the Kippax and Methley Ward; between its junctions with Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.11 and Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.3. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 28 April 2025 and to remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months reference TC10109.

(Rothwell Definitive Bridleway No.48, Leeds) Station Road, Methley – Level Crossing (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of potential danger to the public arising from an increased train timetable due to the TransPennine Route Upgrade Project, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed by foot, cycle or on horseback along Rothwell Definitive Bridleway No.48, Leeds, on Station Road, Methley in the Kippax and Methley Ward; for a distance of 19 metres over the rail track. A diversionary route for cyclists and horse riders will be available via A639/Leeds Road, Church Lane, and Mickletown Road and vice versa. A diversionary route for pedestrians will be A639/Leeds Road, The Hollings, Definitive Footpath Rothwell No. 49 and Definitive Bridleway Rothwell No.48 and vice versa.

The Order is intended to commence on Saturday 10 May 2035 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months reference TC10107.
