CITY COUNCIL NOTICES
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS BOLINGBROKE ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Bolingbroke Road from its junction with Stoke Green with its junction with Humber Road.

The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Thursday 10th April 2025 and is required for allow Severn Trent Water to carry out access chamber cover repair works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Thursday 10th April 2025.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions will be provided for: 

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works
(d) local vehicular access to Bolingbroke Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS RADFORD ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Radford Road from its junction with Fynford Road with its junction with Swillington Road.

The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Sunday 6th April 2025 and is required for allow manhole cover and frame repair works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Sunday 6th April 2025.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for: 
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works
(d) local vehicular access to Radford Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ADDISON ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Addison Road for its full length.

The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 14th April 2025 and is required to allow Severn Trent Water to renew a defective water chamber on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Monday 14th April 2025.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for: 

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Addison Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS SANDY LANE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Sandy Lane from its junction with St Nicholas Street to its junction with Ellys Road.

The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Thursday 17th April 2025 and is required to allow access chamber repair works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 23:59 hours on Thursday 17th April 2025.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for: 
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works
(d) local vehicular access to Sandy Lane

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS LONG LANE AND BROWNSHILL GREEN ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Long Lane for its full length and Brownshill Green Road from its junction with Long Lane to the entrance of Coventry Garden Centre.

The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 14 April 2025 and is required to enable pedestrian crossing, footway and cycling facilities installation works on Long Lane and Brownshill Green Road to take place safely. The Works would be carried out in two phases namely:-

Phase 1 – Brownshill Green Road from its junction with Long Lane to the entrance of Coventry Garden Centre aprrox 40m in total. Works on site from 14 th April to 19th May.

Phase 2 – Long Lane for its Full Length. Works on site from 19th May to 3rd June.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed 3 June 2025.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure would be sign posted on site.

Exemptions would be provided for: 
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform; 
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency; 
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Long Lane and Brownshill Green Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS REDESDALE AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Redesdale Avenue from its junction with Evenlode Crescent to its junction with Batsford Road.

The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Tuesday, 15 April 2025 and is required to enable hydrant renewal works on Redesdale Avenue to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed 17 April 2025.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure would be sign posted on site.

Exemptions would be provided for: 
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform; 
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency; 
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Redesdale Avenue.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
