What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14 The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction) 

(Road From Deriton Mill Cross To Bodmin Street & Bodmin Street, Holsworthy) Order 2025 Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 28/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 7/5/25. 

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of 
Affected Roads. Roads affected: Road From Deriton Mill Cross To Bodmin Street & Bodmin Street, Holsworthy, (From The Junction At Underlane To The Junction At Fry Street). Phase 1 Will Be From The 28/04/25 - 01/05/25 & Phase 2 Will Be From The 02/05/25 - 07/05/25. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - UNDERLANE, CHAPEL STREET & VICE VERSA. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: EXCAVATE TO LAY DUCT (POTENTIAL BOXES) - MULTIPLE SERVICE CONNECTIONS.

(First Raleigh & Northam Road, Bideford) (No. 2) Order 2025 Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Parking 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 9/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 7/5/25. 

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: First Raleigh & Northam Road, Bideford, First Raleigh (From Junction With Northam Road To Junction With Ford Lands Crescent) & Northam Road (From Junction With First Raleigh To Opposite Valley View). 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Northam Road, Pitt Lane, High Street, Old Town, Medon Street, Torridge Hill, New Road, The Quay, Kingsley Road, Heywood Road, Raleigh Hill, Southcott Road, Kenwith Road, Forlands Crescent & Vice Versa. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Road Closure Required On First Raleigh & Northam Road To Safely Carry Out Gas Mains Replacements Works Due To The Location Of The Main.

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. On: 29/3/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 29/3/25. Between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00. 

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: A379 Chittleburn Hill To Red Lion Hill, Brixton, Parking Suspension To The Westbound (Approx. 35m) & Eastbound (Approx. 52m) Of A379 Adjacent To Pear Tree Cottages. There Is No Alternative Route. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: ROAD MARKINGS.
