Cote Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL COTE LANE, ALLERTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Cote Lane, Allerton, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Cote Lane from its junction with Hill Top Lane to its junction with Cote Meadows.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Cote Lane (unaffected section), Allerton Lane, School Green, Thornton Road, Allerton Road, Cote Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 7th April 2025 and remain in force until 23.55 hours on the 25th April 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
