Northumberland, Temporary Road Closures Due To Surface Dressing & Associated Works

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) B6303 STATION ROAD TO CATTON B6303 STATION ROAD AND B6303 ALLENDALE MAIN ROAD ALLENDALE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council Intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 21st April 2025 until the 31st October 2025.

Road Closures:

• B6303 Station Road to Catton, Allendale for its entire length of 436 metres.

• B6303 Station Road, Allendale for its entire length of 669 metres

• B6303 Allendale Main Road, Allendale from its junction with B6303 Station Road heading southwards for a distance of 779 metres.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed on the 24th April 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B6295, B6303 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out surface dressing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
