ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF OAKWOOD GROVE BROOM ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Oakwood Grove outside property no. 73 Oakwood Grove from Tuesday 15th April until Thursday 17th April 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Oakwood Grove, Oakwood Road East, B6410 Broom Lane, Beaconsfield Road and Vice Versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Renewal of water apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
KIRKSTEAD ABBEY MEWS THORPE HESLEY ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Kirkstead Abbey Mews from its junction with A629 Upper Wortley Road to the end of the cul de sac from Tuesday 8th. April until Friday 11th. April 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac. Access maintained for residents and emergency services.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (New electrical connection).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF NEW ROAD FIRBECK ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of New Road from a point approximately 130m north of St Martins Close for a distance of approximately 60m in a northerly direction from Monday 14th. April until Wednesday 6th. April 2025 between 8am and 6pm each day.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via New Road, Kid Lane, B6463 Lamb Lane, A60 Doncaster Road, A634 Maltby Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Essential tree works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Coleridge Road Back Road 1 from its junction with Burns Road Back Road 1 to its junction with Coleridge Road on Tuesday 8th. April 2025 between 8am and 5pm.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected will be via Burns Road Back Road 1, Burns Road, Morrel Street, Coleridge Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Works to Water apparatus).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Melton Green from its junction with Melton High Street for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction from Monday 7th. April until Friday 11th. April 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Bramble Way, B6097 Firth Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Wall repairs).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Manor Road on Sunday 6th. April 2025 between midnight and 8.30am.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Red Hill, Hard Lane, Union Street, Thorpe Road, Manor Road and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Central Avenue from its junction with Badsley Moor Lane to its junction with Guild Road on Sunday 6th. April 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (electrical works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
JAY LANE SWAN ROAD AND DOVE LANE ASTON CUM AUGHTON SHEFFIELD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice for periods of time between Monday 14th. April and Monday 12th. May 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the roads are cul de sacs.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas renewal works).
SCHEDULE
(i) Jay Lane from its junction with The Chase to the end of the cul de sac.
(ii) Swan Road from its junction with The Chase to the end of the cul de sac.
(iii) Dove Lane from its junction with Swan Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for short periods of time between Sunday 6th. April and Sunday 20th. April 2025. Baker Street and Paddington Close will not be closed at the same time.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Works on Rotherham Road).
SCHEDULE
(i) Baker Street from its junction with Rotherham Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via the opposing street and vice versa).
(ii) Paddington Close from its junction with Rotherham Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via the opposing street and vice versa).
(iii) Laughton Meadows from its junction with Rotherham Road for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).

THE ROTHERHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL

(BUS GATE) ORDER 2025
West Street and Montgomery Road Wath Upon Dearne Rotherham
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 3 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police.
Interpretation
1. Except where the context otherwise requires, any reference in this Order to a numbered Article is a reference to the Article bearing that number in this Order and any reference to a numbered Schedule is a reference to the Schedule bearing that number in this Order.
2. In this Notice except where the context otherwise requires the following expressions have the meanings hereby respectively assigned to them:
“bus gate” means a road or part of a road with access permitted only for buses
“pedal cycle” has the same meaning as in Regulation 4 of the 2002 Regulations.
“local bus” means a public service vehicle which is being operated for the purposes of a local service within the meaning of the Transport Act 1985.
“the 2002 Regulations” means the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002
The effect of the order if implemented will to introduce the prohibition of all motor vehicles and pedal cycles other than a local bus to enter, proceed or wait in the parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice; Schedule 1

The prohibitions will not apply to:
a) a local bus.
b) a vehicle being used for Fire and Rescue, Ambulance or Police purposes during the course of an emergency.
c) anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable in uniform or with the permission of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
d) a vehicle which is being used for one or more of the following purposes and which cannot reasonably be used for such a purpose without entering or being in the bus gate:
(i) any operation involving building, demolition or excavation;
(ii) the removal of any obstruction to traffic;
(iii) the maintenance (including winter gritting), improvement or repair of the road;
(iv) constructing, improving, maintaining, or cleaning of any street furniture; or
(v) the laying, erection, alteration, repair or cleaning of any sewer or of any main pipe or apparatus for the supply of gas, water or electricity, or of any telecommunications apparatus kept or installed for the purposes of a telecommunications code system or of any other telecommunications apparatus lawfully kept installed in any position.
Copies of the proposed Order a map showing the length and side of the roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council’s Offices at the address shown below.
Objections to the proposed Order and other representations relating to it can be sent to the undersigned (quoting reference NF/80769, e-mail Legal-TRO@ rotherham.gov.uk) at the address shown below and must be received by the undersigned no later than the 2nd. May 2025. All objections and other representations must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

April and Sunday 13th. April 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Carr Lane, Ramper Road, West Lane, Newhall Lane, Kingsforth Lane, Woodhouse Green, Green Arbour Road, Sandy Lane, Laughton Road, Rotherham Lane, High Street, Hooton Lane and vice versa
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunication works).
