Fitzhead, Temporary Road Closures Due To New Internet Connection Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Fitzhead Temporary Closure of Wiveliscombe Road and Washers Farm Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Wiveliscombe Road - from the junction with Cats Ash Road, northwestwards for a distance of 18 metres; and Washers Farm Lane - from the junction with Cast Ash Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 92 metres. A total distance of 110 metres. This Order will enable Airband Community Internet to carry out new connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 3rd April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 9th April 2025 and last until 10th April 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
