Ilchester Road - Temporary Road Closure To Carry Out Ducting Works

Temporary Closure of Ilchester Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ilchester Road - from 61 metres south of the junction with Cary Hill, southwards for a total distance of 280 metres.
This Order will enable Mike Ford Groundwork to carry out ducting works.
The Order becomes effective on 3rd April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 12th April 2025 and last until 18th April 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 7 days.
