St John Street - Temporary Road Closure For Mains Replacement Works

Temporary Closure of St John Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along St John Street - from the junction with Priory Road to the junction with Southover for a total distance of 106 metres.
This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out mains replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 17th April 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 22nd April 2025 and last until 23rd May 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 32 days.
