Derby Road - Temporary Road Closure For Multiple Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DERBY ROAD, HILTON
WHEN: 07 April to 20 April 2025
WHERE: Derby Road, Hilton from its Jct. with Walnut Drive, Hilton for an approx. distance of 255m east to its Jct. with A5132 Derby Road roundabout.
REASON: To facilitate multiple works in relation to Aldi development.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A5132 Derby Road, Egginton Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
