Temporary Suspension Of One-Way System Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. 

The Order will come into force on 12/04/2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. 

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. 

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 weeks. 

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Mole Ground Works Ltd to undertake 2 new sewer connection works & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Granby St.

SCHEDULE 1
Temporary Prohibition Of All Through Traffic
Packe St between the Jct. of Frederick St & the Gospel Church.

SCHEDULE 2
Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting & Loading At Any Time
Packe St from the Jct. of Frederick St for its entire length, Granby St from the Jct. of Packe St to the Jct. of Frederick St – on both sides of the carriageway.

SCHEDULE 3
Temporary Suspension Of Parking Bays
Packe St between the Jct. of Frederick St & the Gospel Church, Granby St between the Jct. of Packe St & the Jct. of Frederick St – all parking bays.

SCHEDULE 4
Temporary Suspension Of One-Way System
Packe St from the Jct. of Frederick St for its entire length, Granby St from the Jct. of Packe St to the Jct. of Frederick St.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 week. 

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching & any other various highway maintenance works. 

The proposed diversion route will be via: Meadow Ln, Toothill Rd, Bridge St, A6 Derby Rd & vice versa.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Park Rd, Pytchley Dr, Beacon Rd, Epinal Wy & vice versa.

Temporary Prohibition Of Right Turn Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. 

The Order will come into force on 07/04/2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. 

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 weeks. 

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake traffic light replacement works & any other various highway maintenance works. 

The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.
